Yet another mile stone achieved by Enterprise Team @ Adroitec in an On time Project Implementation of PTC ‘s Windchill PLM solution at the esteemed L.G.Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd (LGB) , India’s leading Roller chain manufacturer, based at Coimbatore. With a stiff competition from other engineering enterprise solutions, PTC Windchill PLM solution was chosen for managing the entire product design and data.

PLM Implementation done by Adroitec Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd, (PTC Gold Parter) a Noida based Company which has 7 offices in India and 2 Offices Abroad, primarily focusing on Enterprise Solutions in PLM / IOT areas.

L.G.Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd, is a 75 year old company in Coimbatore, which manufactures & supplies Timings Chains and Drive Chains for Four wheeler and Two Wheeler under the popular brand name “ROLON”, which caters to both domestic and Exports market Segment.

PLM Implementation done at LGB covers Five Modules, viz.. RFQ/RFS Enquiry Management, APQP Project Management, Parts Classification, CAD Document & BOM Management, Change Management which is catering to Primary Departments like Marketing, R&D, Plant and Tooling Divisions, each has Secondary departments based upon Sales Regions (Domestic/Exports), different Product ranges (Drive/Timing/ Silent Chains) and Manufacturing Process types.

Windchill Go-Live Event, started with a welcome note from Mr. Vijayakumar (AGM, IT-Head, LGB) mentioning about the long term need of PLM for LGB and quoted that it is an important milestone in LGB’s History. Followed by Mr. Venkatesa Balakrishnan (Delivery Manager – PLM Solutions, Adroitec) given an overview of the PLM Implementation done at LGB on Technical front along with a Walkthrough on Live-Windchill following the Presentation. Feedback and Implementation Experience shared by Mr. Suresh Kumar.N (Marketing Head, LGB) mentioned about their satisfaction with implemented Solutions and future needs. Feedback and Implementation Experience shared also by Mr. Subbiah (R&D Head, LGB) mentioned about their long term need on managing the CAD Files in PLM, Digitization of Approval process, etc followed by Mr. Arunkumar (R&D Deputy Manager, LGB) explained about the Products uploaded into Windchill.

PTC team, Mr. Kalyan (Country Head, PTC) Mr. Direndra Kulkarni (Presales Senior Director, PTC) and Mr. Siva Ganesh (Sales Manager, PTC) appreciated Adrotiec Implementation team, for their achievement in Completion of Implementation at LGB in a remarkable time-frame which covers major departments needs, which has a startup user base of around 80 seats.

Inspiration Speech by Mr. Ayush ( CEO, Adoritec ) regarding adopting to the Changes, accepting newer technologies based on market and industries needs. Overview of PLM Experience at LGB, addressed by Mr. Arjun (GM, LGB) mentioned about the limitations in Software and its Technology , but still he advised his team to accept and start adopting and proceed further.
