Job Profile: Windchill Administrator
This position is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Adroitec Client Windchill and Engineering applications servers. Associated development activities predominantly use C, C++, JAVA, C#, and .NET languages and will focus on the support, maintenance and enhancement of windchill systems in the Engineering domain including Windchill PDMLink 10.0+ and CREO Parametric 2.0+
Primary Job Functions:
- Lead Windchill Upgrade projects and activities (coordination of all sites and IT resources)
- Windchill Maintenance Document tasks (WinDU, WinRU, revaulting, etc.
- Maintain vault space
- Clone/Rehosts
- Active Directory Integration
- Workers Administration (maintenance, cleanup, connection)
- Review ServerManager, MethodServer and other logs for issues
- Log and temp file cleanup and rotation
- PSM administration and reporting
- Environment planning (monitor CPU, RAM, and disk space growth and plan for expansion or clean-up)
- Remote File Server setup and maintenance
- Infrastructure monitoring and support (network, firewall, backups, disaster recovery, data storage).
- Coordinate environment resources and schedules for development, test, certification and production activities
- Support and perform code deployments and configuration changes at the system level, including code review and test coordination
- Support creation and deployment of supporting application packages at a global level (e.g. Desktop Integration, Creo View, Creo Agent, Creo Parametric, Java client, etc.)Maintain system administration documentation and architecture map
- This position includes on-call critical support as well as working with tier 1 and 2 analysts and application users to provide support.
Desired Qualification & Experience
- 2 – 5 years related on Windchill Administration
- Developing applications in JAVA, C or C++
- Experience scripting in UNIX and Windows Operating SystemsExperience with Engineering concepts and programs (Windchill PDMLink 10.0, CREO Parametric 2.0+) desirable
- Knowledge of SQL and XML
- On call availability (24×7) for system administration support
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization.
Job Profile: Windchill Migration Consultant
Primary Job Functions:
Following the established project plan and Statement of Work (SOW), deliver and manage implementations of PTC data management tools, including Pro/Intralink, PDMLink and ProjectLink, on time and within budget.

Install and configure Windchill tools including 3rd party software as applicable to client solutions
- Documents designs, use cases, customizations, case studies and configuration changes
- Maintain open and clear communication with clients during the design process to meet all design goals
- Provide service and customer support (mentoring) to clients including altering workflows, contents, configurations, etc.
Desired Qualification & Experience
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- Bachelor of Engineering in technical field (Computer Science, IT, Mechanical Engineering)
- 2-3 years experience managing product information or components of products with PTC tools
- 1-2 years system administrator experience (CAD, IT, Data Management)
- One Migration Project experiance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage to deadlines and meet project and corporate goals
- Possess understanding of Product Data Management Business Processes
- Ability to work under pressure and while multi-tasking
- Windchill PDMLink 10.1, 10.2, 11.0 – Installation and Configuration to customer requirements

Associate Application Engineer (AAE)

The AAE role gives great openings to travel while supporting the customer / prospect base in the region. The AAE plays a very key role in the selling process as he understands and suggests solutions for various applications, enabling the sales team to up-sell.
Job Location: Bangalore ,Chennai and Hyderabad (will need to travel)
Job Responsibilities
As an Assoicate Application Engineer you will be expected to;
- Complete post-sale activities like complementary trainings, installations and orientations with, good customer feed
- Support the existing customer base by reverting to their technical queries as quick as possible.Bring new opportunities/Referrals from existing Customer base
- Learn and keep yourself updated on various products that the company handles / acquires along with competitive Information.
- Collect as many product / service appreciation documents from customers as possible.
Desired Skills
Associate Application Engineer needs a wide range of skills and a good technology base to work from. As you are in to technical support job, sometimes you must give technical presentations, and other times be capable enough to understand design / drawings.
- Understand CAD/CAM/CAE applications
- Rich Knowledge and quick grasping of mechanical applications.
- Design / manufacturing knowledge of Mechanical systems.
- Practice Clean, detailed and clear documentation.
- Capable enough to convey technical information; sometimes to even non technical people too.
- Comfortable in using office software
- Ability to accommodate as a team player with good inter personal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Conversable in Local Language will an added advantage
Experience
An Associate Application Engineer needs to be well experienced to handle a range of products and applications;
- 6months-1 year of Industrial / Teaching experience.
- Working experience on Creo Parametric (Formerly Pro/E) and AutoCAD is Must.
- Experience in similar job shall be an added advantage.
- Freshers with Good communication skills and Creo Parametric software knowledge can also apply for this post.
Qualifications
